Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport Seeks Proposals for Common-Use Lounge

The Gallatin Airport Authority (BZN) is soliciting proposals for the development, management, and operation of a new common-use lounge at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. The approximately 8,000-square-foot lounge is slated to open in February 2028, with a contract term extending through October 31, 2032, and potential for three one-year extensions.

Lounge Details and RFP Process

The Request for Proposals (RFP) outlines the requirements for a partner to create and manage a shared lounge space within the airport. This lounge aims to provide amenities for a broader range of travelers, offering an alternative to airline-specific club lounges.

Interested parties can access the full RFP document on the airport’s website or by contacting Aaron Collins at aaron.collins@bozemanairport.com. Proposals must be submitted to the Airport Authority by 1:00 p.m. On April 30, 2026.

Airport Expansion and Development

This announcement comes amid significant expansion efforts at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. A multi-phase, $140-$180 million East Terminal Expansion Project (ETEP) is currently underway, designed to enhance passenger experience and accommodate growing travel demand. Gallatin Airport Authority is continuously expanding and rehabilitating the terminal and airfield.

The ETEP project will add three more baggage claim carousels, a second security checkpoint, additional retail and food options, and the potential for three new gates. Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports that construction is temporarily reducing the number of flight gates from 12 to 10.
