Calvin Harris and Sean Paul Mexico City Concerts Canceled by Promoter
Calvin Harris, Sean Paul, and Deorro will no longer perform in Mexico City after the promoter NPU Live canceled their upcoming concert series, as Animal MX reported. The shows were scheduled to run from October 29 to October 31, coinciding with the Formula 1 race weekend in the capital. Ticket holders will receive automatic refunds to their original payment methods within two to seven business days, according to the organizer’s statement.
Initially, the events were slated to take place at the Museo Nacional de Energía y Tecnología. On October 12, the promoter shifted the venue because that museum lacked the necessary municipal permits to host the performances, Animal MX reported. The schedule ultimately landed at Estadio Fray Nano, positioning Sean Paul and Deorro for October 29, followed by Calvin Harris on October 30 and 31.
Refund Process and Venue Changes Leading to the Cancellation
NPU Live announced the final cancellation on October 23 through its social media channels, bringing an end to weeks of scheduling shifts. Despite securing Estadio Fray Nano as a backup location, the production could not move forward as planned.
Fans who purchased tickets for any of the three dates do not need to submit manual reimbursement requests. NPU Live confirmed that all purchases, including initial service fees, will be returned automatically. The funds will appear in customer accounts within two to seven business days, depending on the individual banking institution handling the transaction.
