Cambyretá Hosts Government Day with Health Services and Solidarity Campaign
The Municipality of Cambyretá is holding a Government Day this Friday, February 20th, at the Virgen de la Asunción School in the Mburika neighborhood. The event, which began at 7:30 a.m., aims to provide essential services and support to the local community through a coordinated effort focused on health, social assistance, and solidarity.
Health Services Offered
A key component of the Government Day is the provision of general medical care. Specifically, free electrocardiograms are being offered, a crucial service for students and athletes in the area. Preventative care is as well a priority, with the Papanicolaou (PAP) program available, alongside complete vaccination schedules to protect the population’s health.
Social Programs and Nutritional Support
The Comprehensive Nutritional Food Program (PANI) is present at the event, ensuring vulnerable sectors receive the necessary support for healthy development. The Tekoporã program is offering management and advice, helping families access benefits if they meet the required criteria.
Solidarity Campaign: Milk Collection
The Municipality launched a Solidarity Campaign during the Government Day, inviting the community to participate in a milk collection drive. To support this initiative and promote recycling, attendees are encouraged to bring glass jars with plastic lids for safe storage of the donations.
Commitment to the Community
This Government Day underscores the Municipality of Cambyretá’s commitment to uniting health, social assistance, and solidarity in a single, impactful event.
