Italy Announces Marathon Teams for 2026 European Championships

On May 22, 2026, the Italian Athletics Federation (FIDAL) officially announced its marathon teams for the upcoming European Championships, set to take place in Birmingham, England, from August 10 to 16, 2026. The squads, unveiled by head coach Antonio La Torre during a meeting of the FIDAL Council in La Spezia, include six male and four female athletes selected to represent Italy in the 42.195-kilometer event.
