Can Yaman and Kabir Bedi to Share Stage at Sanremo 2026

The 2026 Sanremo Music Festival is set to feature a special moment as Can Yaman and Kabir Bedi, both iconic portrayers of Sandokan, are scheduled to appear together on stage. The announcement was made during a press conference on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, by festival host Carlo Conti.

Yaman Addresses Past Legal Matters

During the press conference, Can Yaman addressed recent reports regarding a police operation in Turkey. Yaman stated the situation was a routine check, explaining, “They were routine checks, it’s a tough time for Turkey. They’re checking everyone, and if everything’s in order, like what happened to me, they’ll release you in less than 24 hours. Case closed, or rather, no case at all.” He clarified that he tested negative and was released within 24 hours. Source: Unione Sarda
