Bossier Chamber of Commerce Hosts Second Annual Women’s Leadership Conference
Bossier City, Louisiana – The Bossier Chamber of Commerce hosted its second annual Women’s Leadership Conference on March 31, 2026, at the Live! Casino & Hotel Event Center. The half-day event, presented by CHRISTUS Health, focused on growth, leadership, and connection for women in business, family, and community roles.
Empowering Women Through Keynote Speakers and Workshops
The conference brought together professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders for a morning of learning and networking. Keynote speakers included Melvina A. Smith, retired U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant and founder of The Mel Perspective LLC, and Courtney Kunau-Davis, an entrepreneur and mindset and wellness mentor.
Smith shared insights from her military career, emphasizing resilience and purpose-driven leadership. Kunau-Davis focused on the importance of mindset, balance, and personal growth, offering strategies for navigating professional and personal challenges.
