Cengkareng Road Jam: 1km Traffic Delay Due to Puddle

Jakarta – Heavy rain in Jakarta this morning is causing water stagnation. One location affected is standing water on the Rawa Bokor arterial road, impacting traffic on the Cengkareng toll road.

Head of Highway Patrol (PJR) Ditlantas polda Metro Jaya, Police Commissioner Dhanar Dhono Vernandhie, stated that access to the Rawa Bokor exit from the Cengkareng Toll Road is closed due to the standing water.

“Rawa Bokor is closed, traffic flow is being directed towards the airport,” said Dhanar, confirmed on Monday (January 12, 2026).

Jasa Marga also conveyed this data via their X account @PTJASAMARGA, reporting congestion on the Cengkareng Toll Road towards the Rawa Bokor exit.The congestion is caused by standing water on the Rawa Bokor arterial road,reaching a height of 40 centimeters.

“08.37 WIB #Tol_In Cengkareng City KM 31 – KM 32 from the direction of Penjaringan is congested, there is congestion at the exit of Rawa Bokor, there is a 40 cm puddle of water on the Rawa Bokor arterial road. Use an alternative route,” Jasa Marga stated.

Congestion is also reported on the Tangerang toll road leading to Jakarta, specifically on the Jakarta-Tangerang toll road at KM 18 Kunciran, with a traffic jam extending up to 2 kilometers due to high vehicle volume.

“09.12 IB #Tol_Janger Tangerang KM 18 – Kunciran KM 16 is congested,volume density in the dividing lane between Kunciran GT 5. Kunciran KM 14 – Karang Terngan KM 10+800 is congested,traffic volume density,” Jasa Marga wrote.

“Karang Tengah KM 10 – Kedoya KM 04 is congested, traffic volume is dense,” Jasa Marga continued.
