Centrepoint Cuts Ties with Sharon Osbourne After Support for Tommy Robinson Rally

Homelessness charity Centrepoint has announced it will no longer perform with Sharon Osbourne following her public expression of support for a far-right rally organised by Tommy Robinson. The decision comes after Osbourne commented “Observe you at the march” on an Instagram post promoting the “Unite the Kingdom” rally, scheduled for 16 May 2026 in London.

A Centrepoint spokesperson confirmed the charity has “no plans to work together in the future” with Osbourne, stating that her involvement in political activity contradicts the organisation’s values. The charity emphasized its commitment to supporting young people regardless of background, religion, or ethnicity, and said such political engagement runs counter to its mission of helping young people live without fear and access education, work, and stable housing.

Osbourne, whose husband Ozzy Osbourne passed away in July 2025, had previously supported Centrepoint through its Omaze campaign, which offered a chance to win a £5 million home overlooking Lake Windermere and £250,000 in cash. While she was referred to as an ambassador in that context, Centrepoint clarified she was not an official ambassador for the charity.

The “Unite the Kingdom” rally is organised by Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, known publicly as Tommy Robinson. A previous demonstration by the group in September 2025 drew between 110,000 and 150,000 attendees, according to multiple reports.

Centrepoint, of which the Prince of Wales is patron, thanked Osbourne for her past support but made clear that future collaboration is not possible given the incompatibility of her recent actions with the charity’s principles.
