Hisense and Samsung Showcase Innovative TVs at CES 2024

This year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) saw both Hisense and Samsung unveiling exciting new television technologies, ranging from massive, color-enhanced displays to portable, wireless options.

Hisense highlighted its 116-inch 116UXS, a giant RGB TV boasting a unique addition to the customary color spectrum: cyan. According to Hisense, this fourth color aims to deliver a more vibrant and accurate picture. While this premium model is priced at $30,000, Hisense also announced more accessible Mini LED options – the UR8 and UR9 series – available in sizes from 55 to 100 inches. These models are expected to be available in 2026.

Samsung, on the other hand, presented a dramatically different approach with the Movingstyle. This 32-inch wireless 4K touchscreen display is designed for portability. It features a rolling base with wheels and a handle, allowing users to easily move it between rooms. The Movingstyle M7 also functions as a monitor and includes a built-in kickstand for stationary use. It offers three hours of battery life on a single charge and is priced at $1,199.99.
