On Friday this week, American influencer Kate Cassidy (26) returned to the home she shared with her late boyfriend Liam Payne in England. It reports Daily Mail.

It was both heavy and tearful for the 26-year-old to return home.

One Direction star Liam Payne died aged 31 in October 2024, after falling three stories from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Both alcohol and cocaine were found in Payne’s blood.

In a new TikTok video, Cassidy emotionally shares that she’s never felt as much pain as she does now. In the video, she reveals that she sat outside the home for 45 minutes.

“I’ve been sitting outside the house that I used to live in with Liam for 45 minutes now, just in my car, and it’s so hard to take in that I’m not pulling into the driveway and going home until he’s there,” she says in the video.

“You really never know what life is going to bring. Life can bring you a lot of happiness and a lot of joy – I have experienced all that. But I have never felt so much pain,” she continues.

Cassidy and Payne were together in Argentina, but she returned home to Florida a couple of days before the singer died after falling from the third floor of the hotel.

Last year, the influencer opened up about the time after the death during an interview in the TV program «Lorraine». She said at the time that she had hard days and struggled to get up in the morning. The fact that her dog Nala had to go for walks was a big help in not staying in bed all day.

“It wakes me up and eases my mind instead of lying in bed all day scrolling through social media or old photos. It gets me out of bed and really helps my mind and my mental health,” she said in the interview.
