Chicago Bears Launching 2026 UK Grand Tour Across Four Nations
The Chicago Bears are commencing the club’s 2026 UK Grand Tour, marking the largest international tour for the franchise and making the team the first NFL team to reach all four countries in the United Kingdom in one activation trip as part of the club’s longstanding commitment to international growth. The tour spans England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, bringing community events and gameday experiences to several key regions. The itinerary features pop-up activations in Bournemouth on October 3-4, Cardiff on October 10, and Leeds on October 11, followed by a city takeover in Glasgow on October 17 complete with local food, beverage, and retail offerings. Bookending the international trip are dedicated watch parties for UK supporters on gamedays. Fans will gather in Bournemouth on October 4 and Belfast on October 18 to watch the team play.
Former players join international tour to grow fanbase
Former players will travel with the tour to connect directly with international supporters. Bears Alumni Israel Idonije is scheduled to participate in the Bournemouth events, while fellow alumnus Zach Miller will take part in activations across Cardiff, Leeds, Glasgow, and Belfast.
The 2026 deployment builds on a history of international engagement that dates back to the franchise’s founding in 1920 by George S. Halas. Leadership under the McCaskey Family has continued to prioritize expanding the game of football abroad and cultivating the club’s overseas fanbase.
