St. Petersburg Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing of Four-Year-Old
ST. PETERSBURG, FL – The St.Petersburg Police Department is currently investigating the death of a four-year-old child following a stabbing incident at a residence on Tanglewood Drive NE Tuesday afternoon. Authorities have confirmed the child’s identity as Finley Joseph Cullom.
Officers responded to a call at approximately 3:30 p.m. reporting a deceased child and an injured woman at the home located at 1760 Tanglewood Drive NE. Upon arrival, first responders discovered finley Cullom suffering from stab wounds and pronounced the child deceased at the scene.
The child’s mother was also found at the residence with multiple stab wounds. She was promptly transported to a local hospital and is currently listed in stable condition. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Investigators have stated that no other individuals were present in the home during the incident, and there is currently no indication of any ongoing threat to the surrounding community.
