The concert performance included in the cultural education program “Latvijas scholas soma” could be experienced for the first time in Liepaja concert hall “Lielais dzintars” on Saturday, January 17.

The next concerts are expected on March 19 at 12 o’clock in the Culture House of Tukuma and on March 20 at 10 a.m. in Liepāja’s concert hall.

Antonio Vivaldi is one of the world’s greatest sound masters, who with his genius imagination and talent was able to bring all four seasons to life in his symphonic score.

In the cycle of violin concerts “Four Seasons”, each piece is like a musical story in which you can imagine and feel how nature changes throughout the year.

Vivaldi’s music is lively, colorful and full of surprises.

Especially for the younger generation of listeners of the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, the musical color and surprise score created by Vivaldi is complemented by actors, directors and performers Ęirts Šolis and Rihards Zelezņevs.

They have created a visual and colorful experimental presentation of Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons”, which is a great opportunity for children to experience how music can become an exciting adventure.

Ivonna Kalita, a costume artist, was also involved in the concert performance.

Reinis Lapa stood at the conductor’s desk of the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra in this concert, while the orchestra’s first violin – Līga Baltābola – played solo.

As usual on other occasions, before the concert, the little listeners also had the opportunity to get to know the instruments of the orchestra and try them out for themselves.

By the way, at the beginning of last year, the concert performance “Pēterītis und vilks” staged together with Ęirta Šoli, which won great acclaim not only in Liepāja, but also in other Latvian cities, will be able to be experienced again on May 8 at 10 a.m. in Liepaja’s “Lielais dzintars” concert hall.
