Chris Bey Demonstrates Remarkable Recovery From Neck Injury
More than a year after sustaining a severe neck injury in October 2024 during a match against The Hardys, former Super X Cup Winner Chris Bey is showcasing significant progress in his rehabilitation. Bey has been consistently sharing updates with fans, and recently celebrated a milestone on his 30th birthday.
Progress and Gratitude
Approximately one year after initially taking unassisted steps, Bey posted a video demonstrating his improved agility and mobility. The video shows Bey performing jumps as part of his gym routine, highlighting the advancements he’s made since his 29th birthday.
In a social media post, Bey expressed his gratitude, stating, “God is fine. 1 year ago today I was taking my first steps unassisted and posting to the world about my injury. The support has been overwhelming and I can’t describe how I sense other than grateful. From that moment on I walked independently, no matter the distance, 1 step at a time. Thank you all for walking with me. Time to jump into the next chapter.”
Future in Wrestling Remains Uncertain
While Bey’s recovery is encouraging, it remains unclear whether he intends to return to professional wrestling. The severity of his injury initially led to concerns that he might not walk again, let alone compete in the ring. Though, his positive update has undoubtedly lifted the spirits of fans, particularly those within the TNA community.
Continued Involvement with TNA
Despite his injury, Bey has remained connected to TNA, making an appearance at October’s Bound For Glory event. At the event, the former X Division Champion announced the record attendance for the show held in Long Island, NY.
