Nine Injured in Cincinnati Nightclub Shooting at Riverfront Live
Cincinnati, OH – A shooting at Riverfront Live, a music venue in Cincinnati’s East End, wounded nine people early Sunday morning, according to Cincinnati Police. All nine victims are currently in stable condition.
Details of the Shooting
Police were dispatched to Riverfront Live, located in the 4300 block of Kellogg Avenue, around 1:00 a.m. Following reports of multiple shots fired . At the time of the incident, an estimated 500 to 600 people were inside the venue , . Detail officers were already present outside the venue when the shooting occurred.
Victims and Response
The nine individuals who were shot were transported to UC Medical Center and Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment . Interim Police Chief Adam Hennie confirmed that all victims are in stable condition , .
Investigation Underway
Chief Hennie stated that the investigation is ongoing and declined to release further details to protect its integrity . The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is assisting with the investigation . As of Sunday afternoon, no arrests had been made.
Witness Accounts
Gage Skillman, owner of Fiberglass Custom Repair Center, located next to Riverfront Live, reported hearing screams and cars speeding away from the venue following the shooting . Security camera footage from his business captured eventgoers fleeing the scene and the sounds of gunfire.
