Dr. Haritha Rachamallu Honored for Excellence in Medical Education

Dr. Haritha Rachamallu, a physician with The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. And Kaiser Foundation Hospital – San Jose, has received the Santa Clara County Medical Association’s (SCCMA) Award for Outstanding Contribution in Medical Education. The award was presented in November 2025, recognizing Dr. Rachamallu’s sustained dedication to advancing medical education.

The SCCMA award honors a physician member who goes above and beyond in their commitment to medical education. Dr. Rachamallu’s influence extends beyond her clinical practice, as she currently serves as Vice Chair of the California Medical Association’s (CMA) Committee on Continuing Medical Education (CME). She too contributes as a CME surveyor.

As Chief of Professional Education and Development at Kaiser San Jose, Dr. Rachamallu has led the CME program to achieve multiple six-year commendation reaccreditations. This achievement highlights her vision, collaborative spirit, and dedication to lifelong learning.
