Steven Alker Returns to Defend Title at Cologuard Classic

The PGA TOUR Champions returns to Tucson, Arizona, for the Cologuard Classic by Exact Sciences. The tournament, held at La Paloma Country Club for the third consecutive year, marks its 12th year as an event on the Champions Tour. This year’s field boasts 34 of the top 36 players from the 2025 Charles Schwab Cup standings and six World Golf Hall of Fame members.

Defending champion Steven Alker is back for his 100th career start on PGA TOUR Champions. He will be joined by major champions and popular players like Stewart Cink and Zach Johnson. The tournament is held during National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, with players competing to honor those affected by the disease and raise awareness.

Tournament host Jerry Kelly, a 13-time PGA TOUR Champions winner and two-time senior major champion, is a Cologuard ambassador, having been personally impacted by colon cancer.
