Comino Valley to Honor Female Excellence at Inaugural Event

The XIV Mountain Community “Valle di Comino” will host the first edition of “The Female Excellences of the Comino Valley” on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Ducal Palace of Atina. The event aims to recognize women who have significantly contributed to the cultural, social, and economic growth of the Comino Valley through their dedication, talent, and professionalism.

Recognizing Local Achievements

Winners will be selected by the Mayors of the municipalities within the XIV Mountain Community. The evening will feature a series of presentations and ceremonies, including:

• Institutional Greetings: Prof. Aurora April, Commissioner of the XIV Comunità Montana Valle di Comino, and Dr. Pietro Francesco Volante, Mayor of Atina, will open the meeting.
• Awards Ceremony: Awards will be presented to women of excellence in the region.
• Equal Opportunities Award: A special award will be presented by the Association “COLLECTIVE APS.”
• Special Mention “Woman Excellence”: A tribute will be dedicated to Prefect Dr. Emilia Zarrilli.

Entertainment and Closing

The event will conclude with a performance by the Gospel choir “THE VOICES,” followed by a toast to all participants.
