A Legacy of Community and Wellness

Founded in 2013, the St. Brigid’s Community Choir provides a social outlet for residents and surrounding areas to pursue their passion for singing. The group emphasizes the psychological benefits associated with group singing, and members frequently cite the experience as one of the most rewarding activities they’ve undertaken. Under the leadership of musical director Andrius Kozlovskis, the choir has grown to include approximately 45-50 active members.

For those inspired to join, the choir is hosting an open night on Wednesday, April 22nd, at 8 p.m. at St Brigid’s GAA Club to welcome prospective new members.

Coshocton Community Choir Presents “Still Be My Vision”

Across the Atlantic, the Coshocton Community Choir is preparing for its spring concert titled “Still Be My Vision.” The performance is scheduled for Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 3 p.m. At Coshocton High School’s McKinley Auditorium.

A Diverse Musical Experience

The concert will feature a blend of sacred and secular choral music, including spirituals, classical works, and arrangements of familiar hymns. The performance includes the Coshocton Youth Chorale, The Coshocton Singers, and The Roscoe Brass, alongside other instrumentalists. Unlike many ticketed events, there is no cost to attend this concert, though a free-will offering will be accepted to support the organization’s mission and expenses.

55 Years of Choral Excellence

Now in its 55th season, the choir was organized in 1971 by Snyder, a choral conductor and church musician. Since its inception, more than 900 singers from various backgrounds and vocations have participated. The choir is particularly well-regarded for its renditions of sacred a cappella literature. The members rehearse weekly throughout the fall and winter to prepare for their traditional narrated Christmas and spring concerts.
