Amentum is currently recruiting an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in Seoul, South Korea. This delivery-focused role requires relocation to South Korea for an estimated 6-9 months.

Project Overview

Amentum serves as the prime contractor for the construction of an office complex, collaborating with South Korean subcontractors and a U.S.-cleared workforce. The project will be supported by Amentum’s office in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, providing assistance with scheduling, procurement, safety, and quality control. Responsibilities

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Regular communication and engagement with the customer
  • Procuring materials to meet project requirements
  • Applying and maintaining the construction schedule
  • Coordinating change management and approvals
  • Reviewing project submittals
  • Monitoring project costs and developing progress payment requests
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of safety and quality programs
  • Overseeing and directing direct-hire, cleared craft workers
  • Monitoring the change order process
  • Maintaining project schedules and communicating with the customer, subcontractors, and the home office.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior overseas (OCONUS) experience
  • Successful management of subcontractors
  • Experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers construction management
  • Current Top Secret (TS) security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management
  • Understanding of the USACE Resident Management System (RMS)
