Remedy Entertainment, the development studio behind this franchise, confirmed this positive impact in its latest financial report. “Control sold well during the fourth quarter, and we continued the work we started earlier in the year after receiving full publishing and distribution rights: expanding the game’s reach and finding new, reachable audiences for the entire franchise Control. Mureks records show, throughout 2025 alone, Control managed to sell more than 1 million copies, further strengthening its position as one of Remedy Entertainment’s core IPs. Although Control Resonant will be Remedy Entertainment’s main focus in 2026, the studio continues to support FBC: Firebreak with “smaller updates.” Additionally, projects remake Max Payne 1&2 is still in full production, while a new, unannounced project is currently in progress proof of concept.
