In an era where some listeners lament a perceived decline in lyrical sharpness among New York-bred rappers, Conway the Machine has consistently proven himself the exception.
Staying true to his moniker, the Buffalo-bred emcee has operated with relentless precision, flooding both the streets and streaming platforms with his unmistakable brand of raw, uncompromising Hip-hop.
His work ethic alone has been staggering: in 2024, Conway released Special Machinery: The Ghronic Editionlinked with Ransom and V Don for Chaos Is My Ladder 2and delivered the critically acclaimed Slant Face Killah.

Now, he returns with You Can’t Kill God With Bulletsa title that feels equal parts cryptic and spiritual, underscoring his perseverance and long-earned staying power. Spanning 18 tracks, the album finds Conway firmly rooted in the gruff, street-driven fare that has kept him atop rap’s rank of elite spitters, while subtly introducing new wrinkles that reflect his continued growth as both a curator and songwriter.

Conway on the Chemistry with Conductor Williams & Daringer as the “RZA of Griselda“
Conductor williams, originally from Kansas City, possesses a unique sonic quality.”He got that dust. He got that sound that I love… It’s dusty, it’s dark, it feels like he’s a mad scientist,” Conway explains, comparing him to Walter White from Breaking Bad. “Conductor Williams [is] like a chemist in there… I’ve never been in a studio with him, but I’ve never gotten a bad batch of beats out of him.”
Regarding Daringer’s pivotal role in Griselda, Conway unequivocally states, “Daringer is the RZA of Griselda. Daringer is the nucleus.” He emphasizes that the foundation of their sound was built in Daringer’s living room.
While the Griselda members are now pursuing individual ventures – Westside Gunn with wrestling, benny The Butcher touring, and Daringer collaborating with artists like Action Bronson, Alchemist, and rome Streetz – conway affirms that Daringer’s importance remains unchanged. “We ain’t really had the time to really sit down and just all cook together, but 100%, nothing or nobody would change that. Daringer is the nucleus of Griselda’s sound. Facts.”
Drake Recounts Meeting Dua Lipa in paris
“Louis sneaker in the corner/ They said I blew the streets up”… I met Dua Lipa through my friend Clovis [Ochin] in Paris.Hearing that beat instantly reminded me of Paris. There’s a market there with unbelievable restaurants and shops – it’s The Butcher of Paris.
Big shout out to The Butcher of Paris. It’s a stunning restaurant with amazing steaks and lamb. That’s actually where I met her. She was there, and it all happened in that spot. I was walking the streets of Paris, enjoying my newest purchase. I had a quarter-million-dollar watch and a fresh pair of Louis sneakers. Dua Lipa was in the corner, and she told me, “Yo, you blew the streets up.” That’s the story behind that line.
Was she aware of who you were?
