CPU Delegation Visits Tra Vinh University for Academic and Research Collaboration Central Philippine University (CPU) delegation visited Tra Vinh University (TVU) in Long Vinh Province, Vietnam for an Academic and Research Collaboration engagement from April 20 to 22, 2026. The visit was formally welcomed through a campus tour of TVU, showcasing its academic facilities, laboratories, and learning environment, guided by Mr. Nhan Nhuyen. This was followed by an opening program presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice President for Academic Affairs at TVU, who warmly welcomed the delegation and emphasized the importance of strengthening global academic partnerships. A key highlight of the initial day was a discussion led by the International Education Institute, focusing on opportunities for academic exchange, joint research initiatives, and enhanced institutional cooperation between CPU and TVU. The second day featured lectures, classroom observations, research collaboration discussions, and sessions on Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), faculty and student exchange programs, and best practices in teaching and research. The CPU delegation actively participated in discipline-based engagements, including Agriculture and Aquaculture, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Languages, Culture and Arts, Information Technology, and Education, along with presentations, laboratory visits, and academic exchanges. An introduction of key officials and representatives from both institutions was conducted to establish rapport and strengthen collaboration across various academic disciplines. The collaboration builds on prior engagements between the two universities, including a lecturer exchange and research cooperation program held from April 6 to April 12, 2024, and an international research collaboration officially launched on July 31, 2024. Earlier academic visits as well took place in September 2023, when TVU professors were welcomed at CPU for a productive academic visit.
