Iowa State Swimming & Diving Earns National Academic Recognition

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State University Swimming and Diving team has been awarded the prestigious Team Scholar All-America honour for the Fall 2025 semester by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). This recognition highlights the team’s commitment to academic excellence alongside their athletic achievements.

The Cyclones achieved a remarkable team grade point average of 3.65, placing them among an elite group of 709 teams nationwide representing 414 institutions. To be eligible for this honor, teams must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher throughout the semester.

iowa State was one of 171 NCAA Division I women’s teams to receive this distinction,underscoring the program’s consistent dedication to academic success.The CSCAA Scholar All-America Team award represents the highest academic accolade presented by the organization.

Looking Ahead: Cy-Hawk Series

The Iowa State Swimming and Diving team will return to competition on January 31, hosting the Iowa Hawkeyes at Beyer Pool in the annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series. The Cyclones will be aiming for their first home victory of the 2026 season.
