Ovi Crashes Lamborghini in Los Angeles
Cuban rapper Ovi crashed a luxury Lamborghini in Los Angeles, sharing video footage of the severe vehicle damage to his Instagram account without explaining how the collision occurred, cibercuba.com reported. The artist, whose legal name is Ovidio Crespo-Retureta, recorded the wreckage of the sports car while reacting with a casual dismissive remark about replacing the vehicle.
The social media post displayed smashed body panels and structural impacts on the exotic car. Ovi did not specify the exact cause of the crash, identify who was driving at the time of the impact, or state whether any other motorists or pedestrians were involved in the accident. Emergency response details or police reports regarding the Los Angeles incident remain unavailable through public channels. Ovi also did not offer details about possible injuries or the conditions in which the occupants remained, and there is no information confirming the purchase of another vehicle to substitute the damaged one.
Rapper Jokes About Buying Replacement Vehicle
While recording the smashed frame of the sports car, Ovi offered a short verbal reaction to the destruction of his luxury asset. Bueno, viene Lambo nuevo,
the singer commented on his Instagram story, according to cubaenmiami.com, translating to a statement that a new Lamborghini is on the way.
The nonchalant attitude mirrors a nearly identical incident from January 2026. Earlier that year, the reguetón artist crashed a blue and orange Lamborghini Urus in Miami, leaving the front end completely destroyed and requiring a flatbed tow truck to haul the vehicle away. During the Miami wreck, Ovi posted a similar social media message instructing associates to call the dealership for a replacement, writing Llama al dealer que traigan otra nueva, jefe
on Instagram. During that previous incident, videos of witnesses on public roads and the presence of police agents circulated, though he similarly omitted the causes and driver identity.
Luxury Car Collection Draws Frequent Attention
Automobiles frequently appear in Ovi’s digital content alongside his music career. The performer routinely shares photographs and videos featuring high-end automotive brands including McLaren, Rolls-Royce, and Lamborghini.
In March, the performer made headlines by purchasing a Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV as a gift for his mother, documenting the handover for his followers. Neither local law enforcement nor representatives for the singer have released further statements regarding the circumstances of the recent Los Angeles crash.
