Cygnus Metals Completes A$25 Million Placement to Advance Copper-Gold and Lithium Projects
TORONTO and PERTH, Western Australia, March 19, 2026 – Cygnus Metals Limited (ASX:CY5, TSXV:CYG, OTCQB:CYGGF) has successfully completed a placement, raising A$25 million before fees through the issuance of 156,250,000 fully paid ordinary shares at A$0.16 each, the company announced today.
The share issuance adheres to ASX Listing Rules 7.1 and 7.1A and was conducted without disclosure under section 708A(5) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). Cygnus has provided notice under section 708A(5)(e) confirming compliance with Chapter 2M of the Act, sections 674 and 674A, and the absence of any excluded information requiring disclosure under sections 708A(7) or 708A(8).
Strategic Focus on Exploration and Development
The funds raised will be directed towards advancing exploration and drilling programs at the company’s flagship Chibougamau copper-gold project in Quebec, Canada. Cygnus is currently awaiting assay results from its ongoing drilling program and will announce the findings upon completion of data compilation and interpretation, in accordance with continuous disclosure obligations, the JORC Code, and ASX listing rules.
