Coup de Théâtre to Present Intimate Adaptation of “Cyrano” in Pibrac

Pibrac, France – The Coup de Théâtre company will perform a reimagined version of Edmond Rostand’s classic play, “Cyrano,” at the Lab’Art’ in Pibrac on Saturday, March 14th, at 9:00 PM. This adaptation promises a sensitive and refined interpretation of the beloved story.

A Minimalist Approach to a Timeless Tale

This production of “Cyrano” distinguishes itself through its intimate scale, featuring only three actors who will portray the various characters. The company aims to create a performance focused on proximity and emotional resonance. The staging will be deliberately minimalist, utilizing contemporary black costumes and a sparse set design. Soft, delicate lighting will further emphasize the actors’ expressions and gestures, drawing the audience’s attention to the core of the play: the characters’ emotions, love, and the power of poetry.

Focus on Performance and Emotional Connection

The performers will embody the complexity and fragility of the characters with nuance. The staging prioritizes the sensitivity of the actors’ performances and seeks to establish a direct connection with the audience.
