Rouen 6-2 Anglet
The Dragons ended a two-game losing streak by defeating Anglet 6-2. After a two-goal performance on Tuesday, Patrick holway continued his momentum by scoring the first goal of the match in the second minute. Simon Lafrance added a second goal for Rouen with 5 seconds remaining in the first period! The Rouennais increased their lead in the second period, scoring three times. James phelan scored the third goal before Tomas Simonsen added another after a solo rush. Simon Lafrance scored twice for Rouen’s fifth goal. Late in the second period, Aleksandr Khovanov scored the first goal for Hormadi. During the final twenty minutes, Rolands Vigners scored for Rouen and Alexey Polodyan responded for Anglet.
Nice 6-3 Gap
During the first powerplay of the match, Teemu Pulkkinen deflected a puck off a Nice defender to open the scoring for Gap. Nicolas Cherkowski equalized, capitalizing on the Eagles’ first numerical superiority. Henry McKinney gave the locals the advantage with a shot into the top corner before Louis Cirgues extended the lead for Nice. Chad Langlais’ powerplay goal concluded a first period with 5 goals, four of which were scored on the powerplay. In the middle period, the locals struck twice through Mathieu Desgagnés and Hugo Proux, increasing their lead to three goals! Thanks to an impenetrable Jakub Stepanek, who made 41 saves, Grenoble won 6-0 against Chamonix.
