Dacia Car Sales Surge in Baltic States – 2025 Figures Reveal 3,477 Units Sold

Dacia closed last year by registering 3,477 cars. This allowed the brand to acquire 4.47% of the passenger car market in the Baltic States.

In 2025, 234 Dacia cars were registered compared to the previous year. Thus, the brand acquired 4.47% of the Baltic passenger car market, while ranking in the top six of the sales ranking.

In Estonia and Latvia, Dacia is one of the TOP 5 brands, while in Lithuania it took seventh place (one position higher in the ranking compared to 2024).

The Dacia Sandero model, which ranks first in the B-HATCH segment on the Baltic market among individual customers, has gained great popularity. Dacia Sandero also won first place in Lithuania and Latvia, as well as second place in Estonia.

The versatile and robust Dacia Duster successfully continues its winning streak. Thanks to the latest variant, the model ranked among the TOP 3 in the B+ SUV segment. 65% of customers chose the highest version of this model (Journey & Extreme). A third of customers preferred the Duster’s hybrid engine, while more than 30% of customers chose the all-wheel drive version.

The next Dacia flagship is the Jogger. In 2025, it was the fourth most frequently chosen model in the C-NON SUV car segment in the Baltic States. It was even more successful in Lithuania, where it ranked third. It took fourth place in Estonia and Latvia.

Dacia remains the only brand to offer bi-fuel engines – LPG and petrol – in all internal combustion models, as well as the only one on the market to offer four solutions in one – mild hybrid, LPG drive, automatic transmission and all-wheel drive (Duster and Bigster).

Last year, 35% of Dacia’s total sales volume in the Baltic States was made up of cars with an economical engine, which has been issued with a manufacturer’s warranty LPG-powered ECO-G. On the other hand, more than 21% of customers chose hybrid engines – 11 percentage points more than in the previous period.

In 2025, orders began for the new electric Dacia Spring model in Essential (Electric 70 HP), Expression (Electric 100 HP) and Extreme (Electric 100 HP) versions. This contributed to a huge increase in the sales volume of this model in the Baltic countries – by as much as 138%.

In the middle of the year, the brand started accepting orders for its new C-SUV model – Dacia Bigster. More than 70% of customers decided to buy it in the top version Journey & Extreme, while a fifth of customers chose the all-wheel drive version. Almost 60% of our customers chose the 155 hp hybrid engine.

Dacia Bigster won the Lithuanian Car of the Year title up to 35,000 euros and the Lithuanian Public Car title.

DACIA AT THE DAKAR RALLY

Dacia participates in cross-country rallies with the Dacia Sandriders team, for which the year 2025 turned out to be particularly successful. The brand debuted in the FIA World Rallycross Championship (W2RC), finishing the season second in the manufacturers’ standings, with two of the team’s drivers finishing in the season’s top four and winning the drivers’ championship. The team’s next strategic goal was the 2026 Dakar Rally, which ended with the team’s victory and first place for Nasser Al-Attiyah and Fabien Lurkin. In addition, all four Dacia teams finished the race and were classified at the finish line of the rally. Participation in cross-country rallies allows the brand in extreme conditions. to test the innovative approach to the main challenges in automotive development.

PLANS FOR 2026

In 2026, Dacia will continue to electrify its model range – the goal is to make every model available in a hybrid or fully electric version. The brand announces a new electric model in the A segment, as well as the introduction of a new internal combustion and hybrid model in the C segment. At the same time, Dacia is developing its range of electrified powertrains, including the hybrid-G 150 4×4 in the Duster and Bigster models, the petrol version of which will be launched in 2026. In 2026, Dacia continues to electrify its model range – each model will be offered in a hybrid or 100% electric version.
