TJ Dillashaw Baffled Islam makhachev Wasn’t Given Performance Bonus at UFC 322
One former champion disagreed with a big omission from the UFC 322 bonus list.
Last Saturday’s pay-per-view event at Madison Square garden concluded with the crowning of the UFC’s latest two-division champion.
Islam Makhachev dominated Jack Della Maddalena in the main event, racking up over 18 minutes of control time to secure three one-sided 50-45 scorecards in his favor.
Despite his multi-weight achievement, the manner of the new welterweight king’s victory did not satisfy everybody. Ilia Topuria called Makhachev “boring” in his reactionand plenty of fans shared a similar sentiment.
UFC legend TJ Dillashaw, though, evidently disagrees. In fact, he believes Makhachev’s display was worthy of an additional reward.
