David Doyle, Son of Famed Hotelier PV Doyle, Leaves €6m Estate
David Doyle, the son of renowned hotelier Pascal Vincent (PV) Doyle, has left an estate valued at €6,089,920, according to his will dated April 10, 2024. Mr Doyle passed away in Spain at the age of 67, having lived with motor neurone disease for some time prior to his death.
The Irish Independent reported that Mr Doyle’s will was finalised a year before his death, detailing the distribution of his substantial estate. He was the younger son of PV Doyle, who built the Doyle Hotel group into an international chain from scratch.
Following his father’s sudden death, David Doyle took over the management of the Doyle Hotel group for a period, a role that brought him into the public eye repeatedly over the years.
A private funeral was held in Dublin last Thursday, as confirmed by multiple Irish media outlets covering the obituary.
Mr Doyle’s passing marks the end of an era for a family deeply embedded in Ireland’s hospitality industry, with the Doyle name long associated with excellence in hotel management and service.
