San Antonio Police are investigating the death of a man whose decomposed body was discovered Friday night with gunshot wounds off Wurzbach Parkway on the city’s North Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Discovery off Wurzbach Parkway
A passerby found the body near a water basin in the 7200 block of Wurzbach Parkway, according to police reports. The witness told investigators they were walking to fish at the water basin around 8 p.m. on Friday when they discovered the remains.
Investigation and Evidence
Responding officers determined the deceased man had suffered gunshot wounds. Investigators also recovered bullet casings near the scene, according to the San Antonio Police Department. Authorities have not yet identified the man, and the investigation remains active.
