Delaware Dance Instructor Arrested on Sexual Abuse Charges
A 23-year-old dance instructor in Delaware has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse involving minors, according to the Delaware State Police. Emily Pryor Albino faces four charges of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor by a person in a position of trust and one count of soliciting a minor via electronic device, the police stated in a press release.
Investigation Details
The investigation into Pryor Albino began on August 4, 2023, after authorities learned of allegations that she had sexually abused two teenagers who attended her dance studio, X-Treme in Laurel, Delaware. According to the police, Pryor Albino allegedly exchanged explicit sexual messages with the victims. Detectives have indicated they believe there may be additional unreported victims.
“The detectives are requesting assistance in identifying potential victims related to this investigation,” the press release said. The police have not disclosed the ages or identities of the alleged victims.
Legal Proceedings
Pryor Albino appeared in court and was ordered to pay a $110,000 cash bond. The case is under investigation by the Delaware State Police, which is urging anyone with information or who may be a victim to come forward.
