Kilat pajajaran Express Train to Cut jakarta-Bandung Travel Time
Jakarta, CNN Indonesia — The West Java Provincial Government and PT Kereta Indonesia have agreed on the strategic train service ‘Kilat Pajajaran,’ aiming to reduce travel time on the Gambir-Bandung Station route to just 1.5 hours. This initiative seeks to accelerate citizen mobility on conventional routes.
This express train will be the fastest Jakarta-Bandung train after Whoosh, which completes the journey in approximately 46 minutes.Currently, regular trains from Jakarta to Bandung take between 2.5 and 3 hours, depending on the train type.
West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi stated that this agreement is part of a broader cooperation on railway optimization, which also includes providing special agricultural logistics carriages to lower food distribution costs.
