Denise Richards’ Ex Seeks Spousal Support Amid Contentious Divorce
Aaron Phypers, the ex-husband of actress Denise Richards, is requesting immediate spousal support as their divorce proceedings continue. Phypers claims his income has been disrupted, and is also seeking a share of Richards’ earnings from her OnlyFans venture.
Financial Hardship Claimed
In documents filed in Los Angeles, Phypers asserts he lacks “stable income” due to disruptions to his “business operations and infrastructure” beginning in late 2024. He argues that temporary spousal support is warranted to maintain “financial fairness during litigation,” regardless of pending fault determinations or property division. He maintains that the court has an obligation to ensure “equitable interim conditions” by ordering Richards to provide support.
OnlyFans Earnings and Intellectual Property
Phypers is claiming a right to 50% compensation from Richards’ OnlyFans earnings, alleging that the photographs used on her page were taken by him and constitute his intellectual property. He estimates Richards earns up to $300,000 per month through the platform. He also claims he has not been compensated for his role in her Bravo reality reveal, “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things,” and is owed 50% of the production income.
Legal Battles and Allegations
The divorce has been marked by legal challenges and accusations. Richards previously sought a permanent restraining order against Phypers, alleging abuse. Phypers was arrested in court in October 2025 on spousal abuse charges related to those accusations.
In July 2025, Phypers accused Richards of having a Vicodin addiction and an ongoing affair in a letter to friends and family, allegations Richards’ attorney dismissed as false and intended to be addressed in court.
Eviction and GoFundMe
The former couple was evicted from a shared rental home in Calabasas in December due to over $84,000 in unpaid rent. Following the eviction, Phypers’ family launched a since-deleted GoFundMe campaign, which Richards publicly criticized as “outrageous.”
Timeline of the Relationship
Richards and Phypers married in 2018 and separated in 2025. The divorce proceedings have been ongoing since then, with Richards obtaining a permanent restraining order against Phypers in November 2025, though he still faces criminal charges in the case.
