Dentist Found Dead in Edomex: Suspected Feminicide Case Solved

EDOMEX.- The death of Vanessa Maricruz, 30-year-old dentist, has generated public attention after his body was located inside his office in the municipality of Chimalhuacán, State of Mexico.

The young woman had been reported missing since January 26, when he left his house heading to his workplace and did not return.

Days later, authorities confirmed the discovery of his remains in the same office where he worked, located at the intersection of Avenida del Peñón and Gregorio Melero, in the Tlatelco neighborhood.

The information about the case was released by municipal security authorities of Chimalhuacán and by state agencies in charge of the investigation, Telediario indicated.

The process is followed under the feminicide protocol, in accordance with current legislation in the State of Mexico.

According to official reports, the dentist’s disappearance was recorded on January 26, when she was on her way to her office. When he did not return home, his search began.
