DePauw Field Hockey Players Earn NFHCA Academic Honors

Greencastle, Ind. – The DePauw field hockey team has been recognized for its academic achievements by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA), earning three Scholar of Distinction accolades and nine National Academic Squad honorees for the 2025 season.

Scholars of Distinction

Téa Jerro, Hailey Nowak, and Olivia Streifel were named NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction. This honor is awarded to student-athletes who achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the fall semester and are nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. Notably, this marks Hailey Nowak’s fourth consecutive year receiving this distinction.

National Academic Squad

Claire Dixon, Ava Gallagher, Charlotte Hood, Téa Jerro, Sally Leithauser, Brooke Morgan, Ella Morris, Hailey Nowak, and Olivia Streifel were all selected for the NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad. This program recognizes undergraduate student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester, as nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. More than 1,800 Division III women were named to the squad this year.
