RTÉ’s new series Celebrity Super Spaces features architect Dermot Bannon touring the private homes of well-known Irish celebrities. The present premiered on Sunday, April 26, 2026, on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player. In the first episode, Bannon visits Don Mescall’s home in County Cavan, which is a converted church.

Don Mescall, a music producer, welcomed Bannon to his renovated church property. The series highlights how celebrities personalize their living spaces, with Mescall’s home serving as a notable example of adaptive reuse of a religious building. During the tour, Mescall shared insights into the renovation process and what the space means to him.

The episode as well features other celebrities, including Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews in Howth, jewellery designer Chupi Sweetman, Ireland rugby star Andrew Porter in County Wicklow, and interior designer Geri O’Toole in Limerick. Andrew Porter showcased his simply designed home in the Wicklow foothills and a self-designed gym, his new business venture. Geri O’Toole presented her converted 19th-century cottage, and outhouses.
