Rockwell Automation launched a new platform to accelerate digital transformation (DX) in the manufacturing industry.

Rockwell Automation announced on December 10th the launch of a new manufacturing execution system (MES) portfolio.

The new MES platform features a modular structure. This design shortens time-to-value, reduces complexity, and supports scalability to fit any enterprise size. It combines edge failure response with cloud performance to enhance interoperability across diverse manufacturing environments.

Rockwell Automation stresses the need for an integrated platform, noting that existing MES solutions often operate in silos, hindering comprehensive operational understanding. The ‘2025 Smart Manufacturing Status Report’ supports this, with 21% of manufacturing leaders identifying operating system integration as their biggest internal challenge.
