Disney+ and Hulu Bundle Discounted to $4.99/Month for Three Months

Disney is offering a significant discount on its ad-supported Disney+/Hulu bundle, reducing the monthly price to $4.99 for the first three months. This promotion, available from March 5 through March 24, aims to attract new and eligible returning subscribers in the U.S.

Details of the Offer

The discounted bundle, which includes both Disney+ and Hulu with ads, represents an $8 monthly savings compared to the regular price of $12.99 per month. Hulu is offering the promotion, and subscribers will be billed through Hulu. After the initial three-month period, the bundle will automatically renew at the then-current monthly rate.

Eligibility Requirements

The offer is open to new and eligible returning customers. Current subscribers to Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu, or existing bundle subscribers are not eligible. The promotion is available to U.S. Residents aged 18 and older.

Upcoming Programming

Disney is highlighting upcoming content on both platforms to incentivize sign-ups. New releases include “Zootopia 2” (March 11) on Disney+, the second season of Marvel’s “Daredevil: Born Again” (March 24) on Disney+, and the fourth season of the Hulu original “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” (March 12). Additional Hulu programming includes new seasons of “Paradise” and “Tell Me Lies,” as well as “Predator: Badlands.”

Disney’s Streaming Performance

While Disney stopped reporting streaming subscriber numbers with its last calendar-year quarter of 2025, revenue for Disney+ and Hulu reached $5.35 billion for the period, an 11% increase. Operating income rose significantly, up 72% to $450 million, resulting in an 8.4% operating margin. Disney anticipates reaching a 10% operating margin for its entertainment streaming services for the full fiscal year 2026.

Hulu’s Future Integration with Disney+

Disney plans to fully integrate Hulu into Disney+ in 2026. However, Disney+ and Hulu will remain available as standalone plans in the U.S. A specific date for the discontinuation of the Hulu app has not yet been announced.

Bundle Options

Beyond the Disney+/Hulu bundle, Disney also offers bundles that include ESPN+. The Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited Bundle provides access to ESPN’s networks and services, including ESPN+, alongside content from Disney+ and Hulu. Other bundle options, including those with HBO Max, are also available.
