Tonies Launches Disney Cuddle Tonies: A Softer Grab on Screen-Free Storytelling

Tonies is expanding its popular screen-free audio experience with the introduction of Cuddle Tonies, a new line of plush figures featuring beloved Disney characters. These cuddly companions combine the interactive audio play of traditional Tonies with a soft, huggable design, offering children a comforting and engaging way to enjoy stories and songs.

What are Cuddle Tonies?

Cuddle Tonies are plush versions of the collectible Tonies figures that activate audio content when placed on top of the Toniebox. Tonies designed these new figures to be larger and more huggable than the original Tonies, making them ideal for playtime, travel, and bedtime. Like their classic counterparts, Cuddle Tonies unlock stories, songs, and soundscapes when placed on the Toniebox.

Disney Characters Join the Cuddle Lineup

The initial wave of Cuddle Tonies features a lineup of iconic Disney favorites, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Simba, Olaf, Stitch, and Winnie the Pooh. Variety reports that each Cuddle Tonie retails for $29.99.

Expanding the Tonies Ecosystem

The launch of Cuddle Tonies builds on Tonies’ recent innovations, including the next-generation Toniebox 2, which offers expanded interactive capabilities. The company as well recently introduced Sleepy Tonies, designed to promote relaxation with calming stories and lullabies. These releases demonstrate Tonies’ commitment to broadening the ways children can engage with screen-free storytelling.

Cuddle Tonies are available for purchase starting today on the Tonies website, with select characters also available at Walmart. Additional inventory is expected to be available on Amazon soon.
