Dispyria’s “Redemption I” Set for February 20th Release with Live Concert

Kaiserslautern, Germany – Metal opera Dispyria, the creation of Juergen Walzer, is gearing up for the release of its new studio album, “Redemption I,” on February 20, 2026. The release will be celebrated with a special CD release concert at the Kammgarn Kaiserslautern casino on the same date.

A New Chapter in the Dispyria Saga

“Redemption I” marks the beginning of a two-part epic, continuing the story that began with the battle between Josh Devon and Aelyrea. The narrative introduces new characters – Scrumgrot, David Young, and Saephraenya – alongside returning figures like the Professor and the legendary Red Wolf. The album explores themes of light versus shadow, hope, and damnation. Grande Rock reports that Scrumgrot, awakened by Aelyrea’s last kiss, aims to destroy the balance of the worlds.

Multimedia Concert Experience

The CD release concert promises a unique multimedia experience, blending music, storytelling, and visual production. The 8-piece band will perform songs from “Redemption I” as well as selections from their previous three albums. Attendees can expect a performance featuring monumental walls of sound, symphonic passages, and dramatic depth. Dispyria’s official website details the event as a journey through the worlds of Dispyria.

Guest Artists and Musical Style

“Redemption I” features a stellar lineup of guest vocalists, including Zak Stevens (Savatage), Carsten “Lizard” Schulz (Lazarus Dream), Rob Lundgren (Mentalist), Damiano Libianci, Sabrina Roth, Dennis Ohler (Dragonsfire), and Carolina Padron (Tribus). Juergen Walzer emphasizes the dynamics of the story when composing, crafting a melodic power metal sound that is both faceted, dramatic, and rousing.
