Dolly Parton has written countless beloved songs, but her own favourite is a one-hit wonder released in 1977.
In a 2022 interview with TODAY, Parton answered questions from the morning show’s followers. One of these queries had to do with her favorite song that’s not one of her own.
A fan asked, “Favorite song that’s not yours?” Parton responded, “I always loved the song, ‘Sometimes When We Touch.’ Its an older song,but I just always loved it.”
Along with using music as a way to enrich her life, Parton shared how she manages to take care of her mental and emotional health.Parton admitted that her faith has a lot to do with keeping her grounded.

“I have a very rich spiritual life. I’m not a religious fanatic in any way. I’m more spiritual but a lot of times when things get crazy during the day, I just kind of stop and just kind of draw in God’s energy or that good higher wisdom, whatever you want to call it. Everybody calls it something different,” she explained.
