Domaso Road Accident Injures Two, Investigation Underway

A serious traffic accident occurred Friday evening on the SS340 Regina state road in Domaso, Italy. At approximately 11:30 PM, a car veered off the road and collided with a house.

Details of the Incident

Emergency services responded to the scene with two air ambulances and three ground ambulances dispatched from Cri di Menaggio and Lariosoccorso Dongo. The vehicle was occupied by two young men, aged 19 and 27.

Injuries and Medical Response

Both occupants sustained injuries and were transported to hospitals in Varese and Niguarda under code red protocols. Authorities have stated that, as of the time of reporting, their injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Investigation

Firefighters from the Dongo detachment and the Carabinieri of the Menaggio company were present at the scene to secure the area and begin an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident. The exact dynamics of the incident are currently under reconstruction.
