On the 11th, the romantic film ‘Wuthering Heights’ starring Margot Robbie will be released and meet audiences. This work is a story about the stormy love between Cathy (played by Margot Robbie) and Heathcliff (played by Jacob Elordi), who desperately want each other but have a harsh fate that prevents them from being together.
This movie is based on the novel of the same name. ‘Wuthering Heights’, written by Emily Brontë, is considered one of the three greatest tragedies in English literature, along with Shakespeare’s ‘King Lear’ and Herman Melville’s ‘Moby Dick’. When it was published in 1847, it was evaluated as too rough and bold, but in the 20th century, it was re-evaluated as a masterpiece of British literature. The film being released this time focuses more on Cathy and Heathcliff than on the tragic epic story of the two families, and is reborn under a bold adaptation that exudes love and desire. At the same time, the sensuous video that stimulates the five senses raised the temperature of the play and made the audience immerse themselves in the passionate love between the two characters.
