According to Dyson, the CameraJet features a 100,000-pixel macro lens located inside the brush head. Utilizing Gap Optical Targeting technology and machine learning, the system identifies interdental spaces in real time and releases a precise jet of mouthwash directly into those targeted gaps during brushing. The device is designed to address a perceived flaw in traditional oral care routines, where brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash are handled as separate, often inconsistent steps.
The hardware connects via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to the MyDyson app. Users can view a live video feed of the inside of their mouths while brushing, alongside coverage maps and personalized feedback. Dyson stated that the onboard camera only activates during live viewing or automated jet deployment, and images are neither recorded nor stored locally or on cloud servers.

The package costs 479 euros and includes the CameraJet toothbrush, a charging base, a travel case, and proprietary toothpaste and mouthwash formulated specifically for the system’s fluid dynamics. Consumers can purchase the device in two colorways: Ceramic Ultra Blue and Ceramic Pink.
To promote the launch, Dyson departed from traditional oral hygiene advertising tropes featuring idealized smiles in front of bathrooms mirrors. Instead, the company released a visual campaign highlighting the engineering and creative process, incorporating design sketches, whiteboard diagrams, and macro footage of the precision fluid delivery mechanism in action.
