Échirolles Shooting: 21-Year-Old Shot in Head and Thorax – Critical Condition

In the town of Échirolles in the Grenoble metropolitan area (Isère), a 21-year-old young man was injured by gunfire. Seriously injured, he was transported as an absolute emergency to the Grenoble hospital center.

Around 10:30 p.m., Monday February 9, the Isère firefighters and the national police intervened to rescue a 21-year-old young man, injured by bullets in Échirolles (Isère), at the Roger Carrajat quay in the Viscose district.

The interdepartmental direction of the national police of Isère reports a “victim impacted by 9mm shots, one to the head and three to the thorax”.

The young man, in critical condition, was transported to the Grenoble Alpes Hospital Center. His vital prognosis is in jeopardy.

The circumstances remain to be determined. According to our information, the victim was in his vehicle which had a lot of bullet holes. There were no witnesses nearby. An investigation has been opened for attempted homicide.
