Shanti CollectLive Brings Ecstatic Dance to Cologne and Berlin

Shanti CollectLive, a duo comprised of Thomas and Hendrick from Berlin & Cologne, is inviting participants to regular “Ecstatic Dance” evenings. With over 12 years of experience hosting events, including a long-running residency at the Stadtgarten in Cologne known as “art of house,” Shanti CollectLive also brings their unique sound to international stages like the Burning Man Festival in the USA, Ibiza, Panama, Mexico, and South Africa.

What is Ecstatic Dance?

Ecstatic Dance, as hosted by Shanti CollectLive, offers a unique, immersive experience centered around freeform movement and music. Events feature a 2-hour DJ set blending house music, electronica, psy-trance, soul, world music, and spiritual sounds, preceded by a cocoa ritual led by Bina (@bezaubernde_innenwelt) and followed by a relaxation sound journey. Events in Cologne emphasize a judgment-free zone where participants are encouraged to dance freely and connect with their emotions.

The next Shanti CollectLive Ecstatic Dance event will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Cologne Dance Center, located at Venloerstr. 41 in Cologne. The venue is accessible by taking the metal stairs to the left of the REWE entrance. Tickets are limited and purchasing in advance is recommended.

Event Guidelines

To ensure a comfortable and respectful environment, attendees are asked to adhere to the following guidelines:

• Wear comfortable clothing suitable for dancing, with the option to bring a change of clothes.
• Bring warm socks.
• Stay hydrated by bringing water.
• Bring a cup for the cocoa ritual.
• Arrive by 4:00 PM for admission; the cocoa ritual begins at 4:30 PM.
• Refrain from talking during the dance.
• Keep windows closed during the event to respect local residents.
