The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (KMar) intervened on Saturday evening during a large-scale brawl at a party in the Imperium hall center in Eindhoven. The incident occurred during a Kurdish Newroz celebration, which was subsequently ended prematurely.

Dozens of people were reportedly involved in the brawl, prompting a significant police response. Officers were dispatched to the conference center on Herentalsweg, and the KMar was called in to facilitate separate the groups and restore order.
