Elderly Man Dies After Mobility Scooter Collision in Doncaster

An 85-year-old man has died following a collision between his mobility scooter and a car in Doncaster city centre. The incident occurred on North Bridge Road on Friday, March 13, 2026, prompting a police appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage.

Emergency services were called to North Bridge Road at approximately 1:50 PM GMT on March 13, 2026, after receiving reports of the collision South Yorkshire Police stated. A white Toyota Estima was involved in the incident with an elderly man operating a mobility scooter.

The man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries but sadly passed away, according to Doncaster Free Press. Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
